You’ll be leading a team of UX Content Designers from varying backgrounds that work to create industry-leading and human centric content for our Products. Working closely with our wider UX Team & Management to build engaging, compelling and enjoyable user-experiences, across all of our platforms. You main aim will be to evolve the strategy and lead the Content Team effectively, so that we can achieve our mission.

Other key responsibilities will be to:

  • Build the understanding and importance of content design within our design process
  • Create an atmosphere of true collaboration where the team actively seeks support
  • Motivate, inspire and provide direction for a group of Content
  • Designers spread globally
  • Clearly define training and development plans to meet individual career aspirations and wider team needs
  • Contribute to the goal of providing our customers with a world class experience
  • Bring an outside in perspective to how best to run a global team, drawing on experience gained through exposure to different organisations and industries
  • Ensure team members adhere to HR and Security requirements, for example data security, fraud and industry relevant codes
  • Implement and monitor team satisfaction measurements working with the wider UX management
  • Proactively support other managers, both within the same structure and across the business, to educate and develop a ‘best in class’ management framework
  • Support with the management of the wider UX budget where Content Design needs are concerned

Skills and Experience Required:

  • An expert practitioner with broad industry experience who can define best practice while influencing, leading and mentoring others
  • Have successfully led a user-centred content design team through a period of transformation
  • Working knowledge of building a content measurement framework to take subjectivity away from decision making
  • Experience working with senior business stakeholder all the way to the top
  • Extensive experience managing and developing a team, working within a cross-functional delivery set-up
  • Experienced in recruiting, onboarding, and creating clear people development plans
  • Extensive knowledge measuring team effectiveness and satisfaction
  • Experience supporting and educating the Objective & Key Result (OKR) framework
